Rudi Scholz, owner/skipper of Catiana, started his long professional career on the sea as a boat-builder in Germany.

Later as a UN volunteer, he serviced in Africa and St. Lucia. Further studies as a marine engineer resulted in obtaining an MBA and masters in economics.

Consequently he had being appointed as an advisor to the Indonesian government in the shipbuilding sector for 9 years.

Rudi is now able to combine his years of nautical experience with his local knowledge and experience at sea . So, he is more than just qualified to offer you excellent sailing holidays on his spacious catamaran.
