Whether you’re a hard-core sailing fan or a wide-eyed newbie, the Extreme Sailing Series has something for everyone. The free to enter public Race Village puts fans right at the heart of the action – racing their catamarans at full throttle just off the Harbor Island waterfront, the sailors can hear the roar of the fans, who experience the competition up close like never before.
But to REALLY experience adrenaline-fueled catamaran racing like this, there’s no better way than aboard a charter cat of your own, right alongside the race course. WCM has plenty of cats ready to whisk you and your guests out onto the bay (with captain or bareboat) for the ultimate viewing experience. And you’ll still have the option to return to base in time to check out the scene at the Race Village just down the road.

Every Day, October 18-21, 2018
10am to 7pm – Race village open, Harbor Island Park
11:30am – 1:30pm – Kiteboard Racing
2:00pm – 5:00pm Stadium Racing in GC32 foiling catamarans
5:00pm – 6:30pm – More Kiteboard Racing
All racing takes place immediately off the shore of Harbor Island. Additional Bic Open events and other fun stuff!
If you can’t make it in person, on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 October, fans can follow the racing online via the LIVE blog.
On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 October, fans can watch the LIVE stream of the racing on the official Facebook page and YouTube channel.
With spectators estimated to be in excess of 30,000, there will be no shortage of crowds enjoying the Extreme Sailing Series atmosphere. The perfect thing to balance your Exclusive VIP viewing experience.
As the racing draws to a close and the sailors dock up for the night, the Race Village pushes on. When the lights go down, the atmosphere goes up. Bars and stalls remain open so fans can grab a cold one and something good to eat. With music on hand to supply the atmosphere, the Race Village is the outdoor haven to cut loose late into the night.
