3 REASONS TO VISIT LORETO, MEXICO THIS SUMMER

REASON #1:
THE TURQUOISE WATER IS WARM AND CLEAR!
The Sea of Cortez is known for its clear and warm waters in the summer attracting many marine enthusiasts during this season. Often called the “Aquarium of the World,” the water teems with marine life and offers excellent visibility for water sports and wildlife encounters.

During the summer months (June through September), the water temperature typically ranges from 80°F to 86°F (27°C to 30°C). It is an excellent time for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, and Stand-Up Paddleboarding.

Observe colorful coral reefs, diverse fish species, and potentially encounter larger marine life like whale sharks, manta rays, mobula rays, dolphins, and sea lions. Summer is also prime fishing season in the Sea of Cortez, known for its abundance of fish species such as dorado (mahi-mahi), marlin, sailfish, and tuna.

REASON #2:
NO CROWDS & PRIVATE BEACHES!
Compared to the winter months, summer sees fewer tourists in Loreto, which means you can enjoy a private and tranquil catamaran sailing adventure where you may be the only boat at the anchorage! Enjoy some of our favorite pristine white sandy beaches on Isla Carmen, Isla Coronado, and Isla Monserrat in the Islands of Loreto.

Snorkel and dive the shipwreck at Isla Carmen, paddleboard in private coves and sea caves, take a dip in the natural hot springs, and enjoy local favorite Honeymoon Cove on Isla Danzante which is less than 3 nautical miles from Marina Puerto Escondido!

REASON #3:
EASY DIRECT FLIGHTS TO LORETO IN UNDER 2 HOURS!
Getting to Loreto is easy! There are direct flights to Loreto (LTO) from Los Angeles (LAX) on Alaska Air and Phoenix (PHX) on American Airlines which are both under 2 hours. Dallas (DFW) also offers direct flights that take 3-4 hours. Once you land in Loreto, hire a taxi to take you to Marina Puerto Escondido. Enjoy the scenic drive along the Sierra de la Giganta Mountain Range and 20 minutes later, you are on your yacht!
If direct flights are not available from your location, you can connect through major hubs in Mexico, such as Tijuana (TIJ), Mexico City (MEX), or Guadalajara (GDL) on Volaris.
The Cross Border Xpress (CBX) is a pedestrian bridge that connects the Tijuana International Airport (TIJ) in Mexico with a terminal in San Diego, California, in the United States. This facility allows travelers to easily cross the U.S.-Mexico border directly into the Tijuana airport without having to use the traditional land border crossings. You can purchase one-way tickets online for $16-27.
Fly direct from LAX and you can be on a yacht at an island paradise sipping a margarita in 4 hours!
