Day Trip Catamaran Charters in Loreto/Puerto Escondido

WCM is now offering casual day trip catamaran charters from our base at Puerto Escondido. NO SAILING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. You will board one of our spacious catamarans and simply enjoy the ride as you explore the amazing Sea of Cortez and the islands near Puerto Escondido and Loreto. NOTE that all of these trips require at least six people in order to leave the dock. Your best bet is to put together a group of six, or be flexible and in touch with us as we work to add people to the trip.

We currently offer two trip variations:

5-Hour Island Tour

Cruise the Islands of Loreto for a five hour tour! See dolphins and whales under sail on your relaxing, modern and comfortable catamaran. Explore hidden anchorages and swimming spots. Fish or snorkel in some of the richest fishing grounds in North America. Enjoy the unique sensation of arriving at Loreto on a yacht if you choose. Your captain will work to give you the kind of experience you’re seeking in the time allotted. And you can participate in the sailing as much or as little as you like. Relax and let the pros do the work!

Trips require a minimum of 6 people (total, not just your group) to go
Maximum of 12 people

Includes:

  • Ceviche, Chips and Guacamole
  • Margaritas, Pina Coladas and Beer
  • Beach Towels

You are encouraged to bring other snacks and drinks, sunscreen, music, etc.

 

 

2-Hour Sunset Sail

Cruise around Puerto Escondido and Isla Danzante for a romantic and visually stunning sunset sail! The sun dips below the Sierra Gigante range to the west, and temperatures fall to a blissfully balmy state. Breezes moderate, and the boat glides along with you and your happy crew snapping selfies. You can participate in the sailing as much or as little as you like. Relax and let the pros do the work!

  • Cocktails and mixed light snacks
  • Generally more relaxed sailing conditions during a cooler part of the day
