But if you’re looking for ideas… read on:
San Diego Harbor Tour
This half day sail explores scenic San Diego Harbor and all that it has to offer. Only from the water can you truly experience the San Diego skyline. Cruise past the Seaport Village shoreline and wave to those who wish they were with you aboard. You will breeze by the USS Midway, Star of India, Glorietta Bay, Coronado Bridge and the SD Embarcadero. Get close to the home of the U.S. Navy’s Pacific Fleet and, with a little luck, maybe see a dolphin or two swimming in the harbor.
Coronado Island Day Sail
This FULL DAY sail will take you out to the beautiful Coronado Islands in Mexican waters. Located about 19 nautical miles southwest of San Diego, these islands are a wildlife preserve. You will explore the beautiful coastline and see sea lions, a variety of birds and hopefully a dolphin or two. In season, whales are pretty common. This is typically an 8 to 10 hour sail, so we leave in the morning (bring coffee!).
Whale Watching in San Diego
This is a seasonal event, typically December through March. Please contact us to see if the California Gray Whales, Humpbacks or Blue Whales are migrating. Viewing whales from the deck of a silent sailboat is unlike any other whale watching experience. You get to see AND HEAR these magnificent animals. To do so we go outside the bay and out a few miles into the ocean. It’s incredibly peaceful, and dolphins are almost always frolicking near the boat.
